I Make All Things New!

prophetic insight spiritual growth Aug 08, 2019

A season of double new beginnings begins today! Ask the Lord what two areas of your life do you need a divine reset. Where does God need to come and make all things new? Is it your walk with Him? Is it your ministry? Your marriage? Your career?

It’s time for a Holy Ghost makeover. He makes all things new. One of my favorite scriptures lately has been Philippians 3:13-14 which so powerfully declares:

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

If there is one thing you do right now that is crucial to receiving your double new beginning is forget what is behind you. You can’t change the past. You can’t change what happened. Even if you were the one who made mistakes, God forgives you! Let go! And if people can’t get over your past, then let them go too!

God has incredible things in store for you. This is your season to advance, to press forward, to take the land, to process with all you have.

Stop over analyzing it. Don’t apply humanistic ideologies, secular wisdom, good advice, or the world’s perspective. The opinions of man don’t matter. What matters is what the Lord wants you to do. Stop looking at everyone else. You don’t need their approval. You don’t need their support. You need to trust God and step out into the new and let those things that have kept you stuck go. Let go of the mentalities from how things were done before.

Don’t hold on to how God moved yesterday. How is He moving today? What is He saying to you right now?

Today is your day of liberty! Today is your day of freedom. Today you can be free from fear! Today you can be free from depression. Today the anxiety and the nightmares can stop. Today you can receive healing for your broken heart, for your wounded soul. Today a great exchange can take place. God will trade your heart in whatever condition it is and give you a new heart. Can you fathom that? A brand new heart? A heart that is free from shame. A heart free from hurt. A heart free from trauma.

The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.” – John 19:32-37

When Jesus died for you on the cross His heart stopped pumping so that your heart could live forever. His heart was broken so yours could be whole. He longs to give you a new beginning.

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And He told me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. -Revelation 21:5-6
